Serengeti Drivers

I purchased a pair of Serengeti Drivers sunglasses over 20 years ago when they were owned by Corning. When I first used them I couldn't believe how relaxed my eyes felt in the bright sunlight. I sat on them once and broke the frame so I sent them in to Corning and they replaced the frame and sent them back. Yesterday one of the handles broke so I thought I would send them in again to get them fixed but apparently Corning sold their Serengeti line so I'm not sure how to proceed with getting them repaired. Mine have the aviator style lenses with a plastic frame and apparently that style is no longer available. These Serengeti Drivers are with out a doubt are the best sunglasses I have ever owned and if I can't get them fixed I will buy another pair.

Serengeti rocks

This is my 3rd pair of Serengeti sunglasses. I bought the first pair on a trip to Las Vegas, and enjoyed them for 10 years before I lost them. They were aviators, just like these. I hated losing them, even more when I discovered Sunglass Hut no longer carried this style. Amazon to the rescue!! They had the pair I wanted.

Perfection

Other than having to spend a couple minutes getting the frame to sit on my face straight, I've enjoyed every moment with these glasses.I used to have the Ray Ban shooter-style frames with the large (62mm I think) lenses. They were too heavy. Not a problem with these bad boys.I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair if these get lost, broken or stolen.

These earrings are a perfect size - not too heavy, which nearly scared me off. They are tear shaped, rounded in the front, but FLAT in the back. This is interesting as the silver fleurs on the back show through adding interest. The earrings I purchased are a deeper red than pictured. Product shipped boxed, with Amazon jewelry care card (so, recipient will realize you got these online and not at a jewelry store).

Color lots must differ significantly
I received the matching heart pendant for these earrings last year. The necklace heart was clearly a red garnet color. Yesterday I received these earrings bought to wear with the pendant, but the earrings are a definite brown - more smokey topaz than garnet. They are not heavy so would be comfortable to wear. The back is flat, but the silver filligree is there so each earring piece looks "finished"- if that was putting you off buying these, don't let that deter you. I do love how the silver-work shows through the "stone" if back-lighted. I'm disappointed about the color but have some brown outfits I can wear with them, even if I can't wear them with the "matching" necklace. (detail, buy and Stock)

Devilish Delight

The ruby heart with horns and tail sounded tacky, but I was getting it for a dear friend known as the "Little Dikkins", so was appropriate. Imagine my surprise when I received the necklace and found that it was not at all tacky, and in fact was so cute I wanted to keep it for myself!

The stone is large, the setting is deceptively sturdy but looks delicate, and it is just gorgeous overall. I highly recommend this item for anyone who likes hearts, red stones, or "dikkins" type items. (detail, buy and Stock)

I bought the heart pendant for my wife for mother's day. She loved it. It's very petite and dainty, and that is the style jewelry my wife prefers.
